An Intergenerational Black History Month Gathering

Parc Village is proud to present The Stories We Carry, an intergenerational Black History Month gathering curated by Candice Leigh.

This conversation brings together voices from different generations to share lived experiences, wisdom, and perspective — honoring how Black history lives within people, families, and community. Through storytelling and reflection, we create space to listen, learn, and connect across generations.

This free, open-to-the-public gathering will feature guest speakers Renella Henry, Herb “Pucci” Green, Jeanne Marie Sterling, and Quinn Foster, with hosting and spoken word by Dexter Portalis of Good Soul Poetry, guiding the conversation through storytelling, reflection, and intergenerational dialogue, with gumbo served and door prizes available as we share in community.

Join us for an afternoon rooted in shared history, meaningful dialogue, and connection.
